The Brew City Bears beat the Chicago Kingpins, 7-6, at Walter Partlo Memorial Stadium at The Tap House. Jerry Coleman, in particular, was impressive. He went 2-3 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Brew City reliever Winnie the Pabst [BOT] picked up the win, raising his record to 1-0. Lord Slick Fingers was tagged with the loss. The triumph makes Brew City 8-3, as the team begins another long trek toward the playoffs in 2078.

The game turned with no one out in the bottom of the fourth. That's when Coleman hit a 2-run home run off Lord Slick Fingers. It propelled the Bears into the lead, 7-5.

"I like the grit of this ballclub," Coleman said.
