Hepcats Win Thriller, 8-7
|
Getting offensive support from Theodor Geisel, the Kansas City Hepcats topped the Puerto Rico Ranas, 8-7. Geisel was 5 for 6 with a double and 4 singles for the Hepcats. The Ranas, now 4-8, continue their slow start.
The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the tenth. With two out, Geisel hit a changeup from Harry Berry [BOT] for a run-scoring single. The Hepcats, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.
