Xicoyotl Montalbán powered the Death Valley Scorpions to a win over the Lunar Base Space Rangers. The final score was 9-1. The Death Valley third baseman, who finished 3rd in the Champions in triples with 7 in 2071, was phenomenal. He stroked 3 extra-base hits, including 1 home run and 2 doubles. Death Valley, now 5-0, is setting the league on fire so far.

Death Valley won the game in part because of Launch Angle. The first baseman ripped a grand slam home run in the top of the second inning to put the Scorpions ahead, 5-0. For the game, Angle had 1 double and 1 home run in 5 at-bats.
