4-2 Loss Extends Anchorage Losing Streak
|
California Firehawks starter John Valek IV pitched a strong game against the Anchorage Wheelers at PBE Bigger Strange Podcast Stadium: Home of the Waterpigeons, leading the Firehawks to victory, 4-2. The Wheelers, now 2-10, continue their slow start.
California took the lead in the bottom of the sixth. With two out and the bases loaded, Deion Sandals stroked a 2-run single to make it 3-1, Firehawks.
"Winning is hard sometimes," said Firehawks manager . "This one was nice to get."
