Flamingos Rally to Eke Out Win
|
The Florida Flamingos dealt the Chicago Kingpins a 4-3 loss at Florida Man Park. Chase Hunter was the star on offense. He went 3-6 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Florida pitcher Cody Ogg got the win. He's now 1-1. Deviver Votto was tagged with the loss. Chicago, now 2-10, continues its tough start.
Florida won the game in the bottom of the 18th inning. With two outs and Deviver Votto on the mound for Chicago, first baseman Ryan Dinger hit a dramatic solo home run, bringing Flamingos fans to their feet.
"Put a star next to this win," Dinger said.
