Armadillos Get 9-1 Win Versus State College
The Amarillo Armadillos knocked off the State College Swift Steeds , 9-1, in Minor League PBE action at Taylor Swift is Hard Mid Eras Tour 2.0. Amarillo pitcher and Seymour, Indiana, native Marsh Mellow Jr. had an outstanding performance. Mellow Jr. yielded 1 run over 6.2 innings to notch the win. He scattered 6 hits, walked 2, and struck out 8. His record improves to 3-1. The Swift Steeds fall to 5-8 and continue to sputter in the early going.

The Armadillos got a big hit from third baseman Kveta Vlková. Facing State College pitcher Nero Mantics [BOT] in the top of the seventh, Vlková pounded a 3-run home run to center. His 1st home run of the season put the Armadillos ahead, 7-1.

"As well as we've been playing, I think we can play even better," said Amarillo manager .
