Swift Steeds Deal Lemurs 6-3 Defeat

State College and Louisville duked it out and the Swift Steeds came out victorious.
The State College Swift Steeds topped the Louisville Lemurs by a score of 6-3. Leading the way was designated hitter D.W. Dogmaple. Dogmaple was 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for the Swift Steeds . Archie Richards got the win, improving to 2-2. He worked 5 innings, giving up 1 run on 5 hits, while striking out 2 and walking 2.
Early in the game, Dogmaple had a 2-run home run for State College. It was his 3rd home run of the season and put the Swift Steeds on top, 2-0.
"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Dogmaple told the State College Daily.
The Lemurs fall to 5-8 and continue their uninspiring start to the 2070 season.
