Loss to Bears Extends Puerto Rico Losing Streak
Behind a fine performance from Julio Ruiz Jr., the Brew City Bears knocked off the Puerto Rico Ranas, 7-3. Ruiz Jr. went 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the Bears. Puerto Rico, now 1-12, continues its tough start.

Brew City used a timely hit from Launch Angle to get the win. The designated hitter delivered a 2-run triple in the top of the ninth inning to put the Bears on top, 6-3. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"Enjoyed this one," Ruiz Jr. told the Brew City Daily. "But it's back to work tomorrow."
