Brew City got a decent performance from pitcher Count Crabula, but it wasn't enough to beat the Puerto Rico Ranas. Puerto Rico won the Kay Faraday Memorial Stadium contest, 5-2. Crabula threw 7.1 innings of 5-hit ball for the losing team. Dr. LBG closed the door for Puerto Rico, picking up his 1st save of the year. "Lousy" describes the Brew City performance in the early going.

Puerto Rico took a 5-2 lead on Daddy Blaney's 2nd home run of the season. The 3-run home run came off Brew City pitcher Yogi Budweiser in the bottom of the eighth.

"This level of focus will win us a lot of ballgames," Blaney said after the game.
