Kansas City got a terrific game from left fielder Ford Lincoln-Mercury. It wasn't enough, though, to prevent the team from falling to Puerto Rico, 6-4. Lincoln-Mercury went 2-4 with 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. Ranto Mune recorded the save for Puerto Rico, his 1st of the season. With the loss, Kansas City sinks to 6-8.

Scoops Cunningham, who is tied for 10th in the MiLPBE in hits with 17, helped out the Puerto Rico cause in the bottom of the fifth inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the shortstop went 3 for 4 with a double and 2 singles.
