The Amarillo Armadillos went home winners at The Burrow Presented by the PBE Bigger Strange Pod, thanks in large part to starter Harold Smith. Smith stifled the State College Swift Steeds , enabling Amarillo to grab the 4-1 win. Smith went 5 innings to notch the win. He scattered 4 hits, walked 2, and struck out 3. His record improves to 2-2. Early on, the Armadillos, at 10-4, have played an impressive brand of baseball.

Walter Walterson, who is tied for 2nd in the MiLPBE with a .508 on-base percentage, helped out the Amarillo cause in the bottom of the first inning with a run-scoring ground out. For the game, the first baseman drove in one run.
