7-3 Win for Brew City Over Kansas City
The Kansas City Hepcats and Brew City Bears delighted fans at Walter Partlo Memorial Stadium at The Tap House.

The Brew City Bears topped the Kansas City Hepcats, 7-3, with youngster Handel Aldi's Nuts playing a key role. Aldi's Nuts was 4 for 4 with 4 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for the Bears in the win. It was the 9th win in 14 games this year for the defending champion Bears, who are picking up where they left off.

Tater MacCheesy had a big bases-clearing double for the Bears in the bottom of the second inning. With Brew City leading 2-0 and the bases loaded, he got a knuckle curve from 22-year old left-handed pitcher Christian Summers and swatted a double to center. It was his 4th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Bears ahead, 5-0.

MacCheesy attributed the win to "a well-rounded effort by the whole team."
