Amarillo Gets 7-4 Win
Louisville first baseman Man Squatch had a terrific game, but it still wasn't enough to get his team a win. Squatch went 2 for 4 with a home run and a triple, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2, even as Amarillo beat the Lemurs, 7-4. Marsh Mellow Jr. picked up the win with 6 innings of work. He allowed 3 runs on 6 hits, while walking 4 and striking out 3. On the season, he is now 2-0. The Lemurs fall to 4-10 and continue their unimpressive start to the 2075 season.

Beau Mathews helped his team jump on top from the get-go. His first time up in the top of the first, he cranked a run-scoring single to give Amarillo a 1-0 lead.

"I just tried to make good contact," said Mathews.
