The Brew City Bears got a stellar effort from pitcher Professor Croakwell, helping Brew City score a win over the visiting Anchorage Wheelers, 2-0. The win gives Brew City a record of 10-5.

The outcome was still in doubt in the top of the ninth inning. With runners on 1st and 2nd and Anchorage trailing 2-0, Paj Bobba needed to get a big out. On a first pitch cutter, Parker Steele, who is the 9th-best prospect in the Wheelers organization, grounded out, putting the kibosh on a potential rally.
