Lemurs Rally to Win
In a close game at Colby Koffman Championship Field at The Jungle, the Louisville Lemurs edged the State College Swift Steeds , 5-4. Louisville catcher Carlton Beaty stood apart with his performance. He went 5 for 6 with a home run and 4 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Nikola Gru [BOT] claimed the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The left-hander allowed 1 run on 1 hit in 2.2 innings. His record stands at 1-0. The Lemurs, now 11-4, have played inspired baseball.

The Lemurs got a clutch hit from third baseman Thibault Lefebvre. In the bottom of the 12th, he hit a run-scoring single to right, to win the game for the Lemurs.
