6-3 Win Takes Bears to 10-5
|
The Brew City Bears overcame a good performance by Kansas City right fielder Klemen Kamenik to knock off Kansas City, 6-3, at Walter Partlo Memorial Stadium at The Tap House. Kamenik was 3 for 4 with 3 singles, while adding 3 RBI. The Pizzanator III nailed down his 4th save. The loss drops the Hepcats to 9-6.
In the bottom of the sixth, Brew City right fielder Jared Keeso had a productive at-bat. With runners on 1st and 2nd and one out, Keeso stroked a run-scoring single to center. It made the score 5-3, Brew City. For the game, he went 3-5 with 3 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
"It was a solid team effort and we'll try to keep this momentum going," Keeso told reporters after the game.
