The State College Swift Steeds picked up a win at Colby Koffman Championship Field at The Jungle, knocking off the Louisville Lemurs, 4-2. Starting pitcher Bug Chingus played a key role in the triumph. The loss has the Lemurs at 8-8.

Dusty Backstop had a direct impact on the outcome. Backstop contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the sixth inning to put State College up, 3-2.

Chingus called the win a testament to his team's "tenacity."
