The Brew City Bears extended their winning streak.

Getting offensive support from Cliff Plante, the Brew City Bears topped the Anchorage Wheelers, 6-4. Plante went 1-2 with a home run and 2 walks, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the Bears. Bryce Wheeler picked up the save for Brew City, his 4th of the year.

Plante contributed a big hit, a 3-run home run, for Brew City in the top of the fifth. With his team trailing 4-3, Plante took a circle change from Oilohnroc Yttef and stroked the home run to right. His 3rd home run of the season allowed the Bears to leap in front, 6-4.

"We'll put that win in the can," said Plante, "and go after the next one."

The win puts Brew City at 8-8.
