Masahiro Sato propelled his team to victory over the State College Swift Steeds . The final score was 5-4, Brew City. The win was credited to Daniel Martin in relief. His record improves to 1-2. Twain Teetoo [BOT] took the loss. The save went to "Fire" Aaron Boone, his 3rd this season.

Brew City used the timely hitting of J.B. Rainier to seize the win. The first baseman stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Bears on top, 5-4. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

Sato told reporters after the game: "All's well that ends well."

The Swift Steeds fall to 7-9 and continue to sputter in the early going.
