State College rode a good effort from starter Crabtin Crunch to beat the Amarillo Armadillos at The Burrow Presented by the PBE Bigger Strange Pod. The final score was 2-0. The winning pitcher was Crunch, now 3-1. He tossed 5.1 innings of 5-hit ball, while walking 2 and fanning 2. Nero Mantics recorded his 3rd save for State College.

State College used the bat of Diego Ramieriez to get the win. The shortstop hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Swift Steeds ahead, 2-0. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it did its damage.

Ramieriez said his team "played with determination."

The Armadillos fall to 7-10 and continue their lackluster start in 2071.
