The Providence Crabs earned a close win over the Boise Raptors, thanks in part to Iceman. The Providence right-hander, who is tied for 2nd in the Legends in quality starts with 7, played a key role in the 3-1 victory. The victory gives the Crabs a record of 24-15.

With scoring opportunities rare, the Crabs had to cash in when they had the chance. One such opportunity presented itself in the bottom of the third, when designated hitter JD Pants hit a run-scoring single. The single came off Marsh Mellow Jr. and made the score 2-0, Crabs. Pants went 2-3 with 2 singles and a walk.
