Demons Get Past New Orleans for 6-5 Win
The Detroit Demons turned back the New Orleans Rougarous, 6-5, at Demon's Lair at Laser Park. Biff Slamous, in particular, had a fine performance. He went 1-2 with 2 walks. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. The Demons raised their record to 4-1.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the ninth. With one out, Slamous hit a sinker from Dizzy Stoner for a run-scoring single. The Demons, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

In postgame comments to the Detroit Chronicle, Slamous said, "If the effort is there, the wins will come."
