|
Led by Launch Angle, the Death Valley Scorpions defeated the Nashville Stars, 5-2, in 10 innings. Angle went 1-3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored once for the Scorpions. Death Valley has now won 3 in a row.
The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the tenth. With no one out, Angle hit a cutter from Siegmeyer of Catarina for a 3-run home run. The Scorpions, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.
"I keep finding places to plunk down base hits," said Angle.
