Aviators Lose By a Run at Toronto
|
Getting an impressive start from Strider, Toronto beat Outer Banks by the score of 3-2. In 6 innings, Strider surrendered 3 hits, while striking out 9 and walking 3. He allowed 1 run. Clay Homes, who is tied for 7th in the Legends in holds with 1, earned the save for Toronto.
The Pathfinders got a big at-bat from first baseman Peter Dawson III. For the game, Dawson III went 1 for 3 with a double and a walk. He drove in 2 runs. In the bottom of the fifth, with runners on 2nd and 3rd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 9th double of the season gave Toronto a 3-1 lead.
