Sea Serpents Get 8-6 Win Versus Death Valley
With center fielder Pass leading the charge, the Seattle Sea Serpents defeated the Death Valley Scorpions, 8-6, at The Aquadome. Pass, who finished 4th in the Champions in stolen bases with 73 last year, went 3-4 with 2 doubles and a walk. He scored 3 times. Aria Bluesky got the win, improving to 5-4. He pitched 6 innings, giving up 10 hits and 3 runs, while striking out 2 and walking 3. The Sea Serpents improved their record to 21-20 by beating Death Valley.

First Baseman Bookie Metts made an impact for Seattle, when he swatted a run-scoring double off Guy Roussy in the bottom of the second. For the contest, Metts went 2 for 4 with a double, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.

"I was just going up there trying to see good pitches, that was about it," said Pass.
