Jihmih Beniko pitched a gem to lead Cancun to victory over the New Orleans Rougarous, 9-1. With the win, Cancun upped its record to 26-15.

Feka Ohi Kau had a big run-scoring double for the Toros in the bottom of the third inning. With Cancun leading 1-0 and a runner on 1st, he got a circle change from Steven Slothsburg, who finished 3rd in the Champions in wins with 12 in 2069, and swatted a double to right. It was his 18th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Toros ahead, 2-0.

"Really good pitchers have that ability to raise their game when they need to," said Cancun manager .
