Pathfinders Lose, 5-0; No End to Nosedive
|
The Boise Raptors got a good effort from starter Femini Nomenon in defeating the Toronto Pathfinders at Hammond Park. The final score was 5-0. Nomenon, now 6-3, was the winner. In 7 innings, he gave up 7 hits, while striking out 10, walking 2, and allowing no runs. Toronto, at 14-28, has lost 11 straight.
The Raptors got a big at-bat from first baseman Ryan Dinger. For the game, Dinger was 1-3 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 runs. In the bottom of the third, with the bases empty, he stroked a solo home run. His 7th home run of the season gave Boise a 1-0 lead.
