The Detroit Demons beat the Death Valley Scorpions, 10-4, at Demon's Lair at Laser Park. The win was due in part to second baseman Zen Bobrist, who went 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. Spencer Bearer snagged the win in relief. He goes to 4-0 on the season. Lanky Schramm suffered the loss. The Demons now have a record of 23-20.

Had Zak Johnson III not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and a runner on 2nd, Johnson III hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 5-4, in favor of the Demons.

"I keep on showing up every day and trying to put up good at-bats and find good pitches to hit," said Bobrist.
