Scorpions Pull Off Thrilling 7-4 Win in Extras
The Death Valley Scorpions beat the Indianapolis Apex, 7-4. Death Valley pitcher and Boston, Massachusetts, native Billy TheKid led the way. Ray Xavier notched the win in relief. The right-hander allowed 2 runs on 3 hits in 2 innings. His record now sits at 4-0. The win makes Death Valley 28-15.

Death Valley used the clutch hitting of Ted Giannoulas to capture the win. The first baseman drilled a 3-run home run in the top of the tenth inning to put the Scorpions ahead, 7-4. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a big one.
