The Vancouver Vandals locked up a win at The Thunderdome, knocking off the Buffalo Surge, 5-4. On the mound for Vancouver was right-hander Thor Lore. He played a major role in the triumph. Alejandro Abasi closed the game out for Vancouver, earning his 6th save. Vancouver raised its record to 31-13 with the win.
