Seattle Wins, Metts goes 3-for-4
The 6-4 Seattle win over Indianapolis was due largely to Bookie Metts. The Sea Serpents third baseman went 3 for 4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3. Pim Pimling got the win, improving to 1-1. He pitched 7 innings, giving up 6 hits and 4 runs, while striking out 8 and walking 2. Kip Treadwell earned the save, his 1st, for the Sea Serpents.

Seattle catcher Dusty Backstop helped the Sea Serpents go up, 5-4, in the top of the sixth inning. With the game tied, Backstop hit a run-scoring single off Indianapolis pitcher Flop Quads.

"Solid performance from our side," said Sea Serpents manager .

The win moves Seattle to a record of 3-3.
