Down Go Space Rangers Again, 7-3
|
The Indianapolis Apex topped the Lunar Base Space Rangers, 7-3, with right fielder Harry Callahan playing a big role. Callahan was 4-5 with a double and 3 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for the Apex in the win. Indianapolis is now 25-23, while Lunar Base is 12-36.
Indianapolis left fielder Edward Mackinlay helped the Apex go up, 5-3, in the bottom of the seventh inning. With the game tied, Mackinlay hit a 2-run single off Lunar Base pitcher Ian Rubbish.
"It was a solid, all-around game for us," said Indianapolis manager .
