The Buffalo Surge picked up a win at The Island, knocking off the Outer Banks Aviators, 6-4. Starting pitcher Lieutenant Dudz was a big reason why. Dudz got the win, improving to 2-7. He gave up 7 hits and walked 1 over 7 innings. He allowed 2 runs. With the win, the Surge are 15-33.
Woop Woop had a big 2-run home run for the Surge in the top of the fourth inning. With Buffalo leading 1-0 and a runner on 2nd, he sized up a curveball from Jiggs Kingman, who is tied for 6th in the Legends in quality starts with 8, and punished it. The result was his 8th home run of the season, which put the Surge on top, 3-0.
