Vandals Suffer One-Run Loss at Death Valley
The Death Valley Scorpions picked up a win at Cari Price Memorial Stadium, topping the Vancouver Vandals, 6-5. On the mound for Death Valley was right-hander Deviver Votto. He played a principal role in the triumph. The Scorpions now own a record of 23-30.

Stelle, who won the Rookie of the Year Award in 2074, chipped in a 2-run home run for Death Valley in the bottom of the eighth. For the game, the left fielder had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 2 runs scored, and 2 runs batted in.

"Deviver gave us a heck of an effort," said Death Valley manager .
