Toronto Loses, 5-4, to New Orleans in 10

Full Moon Stadium was host to some action-packed drama.
The New Orleans Rougarous faced a tough opponent in Toronto pitcher Jihmih Beniko, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Full Moon Stadium by a final score of 5-4 in 10 innings. Beniko went 6.2 innings and allowed 3 runs. New Orleans reliever Takeda Takahashi, who finished 5th in the Champions in saves with 10 in 2072, was credited with the win. His record goes to 4-2. Fridtjof Nansen took the loss for Toronto.
The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the tenth inning, when New Orleans right fielder Ozzie Robinson, facing Fridtjof Nansen, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Rougarous the 5-4 win.
"To not win that game stings a little bit," said Toronto manager .
The third-place Rougarous now have a record of 26-27.
