Hepcats Suffer One-Run Loss at Chicago
The Kansas City Hepcats got a sterling performance from first baseman Air Yordong, but the Chicago Kingpins still prevailed, 7-6. Yordong was 4-5 with a home run and 3 singles. He scored 2 runs. Jazz Hands snagged the win in relief. He goes to 1-1 on the season. Poe Poe suffered the loss. The win brings the Kingpins to 6-11, an awful start for a team that made the playoffs just last season.

A defensive lapse proved costly in the contest. In the bottom of the seventh, with the game tied, TJ George was at the plate when Chicago scored 1 on an error. The miscue enabled the Kingpins to go in front, 7-6.

"We need to string a few more wins like this one together," said George.
