Amarillo and California took Mother Nature's best shot and still managed to complete their ballgame.

The Amarillo Armadillos dealt the California Firehawks a 2-1 loss at PBE Bigger Strange Podcast Stadium: Home of the Waterpigeons. Jordan Love was the star on offense. He went 2 for 3 with 2 home runs and a walk. UNUNUN AWOOOOOOORXT recorded the save, his 1st.

Love had a game-changing home run in the top of the seventh. On a 1-2 fastball from Crabby Pebbles, he banged a solo home run to right, giving the Armadillos a 2-1 lead. It was the 6th home run of the year for Love.

"Whenever we hold the other team to one run," said Armadillos manager , "I like our chances."

Amarillo, now 11-6, has gotten their season off to a good start.
