Hepcats Beat Firehawks, 7-2
|
Kansas City beat California on the strength of starter Taylor Adkins's fine effort. The right-hander led his team to a win, 7-2. The Firehawks drop to 7-10 and continue their inconsistent start to the 2067 season.
Revan Shan had a critical at-bat with two out in the bottom of the sixth for Kansas City. He came through with a 2-run double to put Kansas City in front, 5-1.
"It's easier to pitch when you get run support," said Adkins.
