Despite a fine performance by left fielder Ben Martin, the Amarillo Armadillos lost to the Louisville Lemurs, 8-4. Martin was 2-2 with a home run and 3 walks. He scored 2 runs. Hank Hill recorded his 1st save for Louisville. The Armadillos fall to 7-11 and continue their sputtering start to the 2078 season.

Louisville shortstop John Jonathan Johnsen-Jonsen helped the Lemurs go up, 3-1, in the bottom of the sixth inning. With the game tied, Johnsen-Jonsen hit a 2-run single off Amarillo pitcher VJ Edgecombe.

"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Johnsen-Jonsen told the Louisville Times.
