Big Day for Allaire in 9-3 Lemurs Win
|
The Louisville Lemurs downed the State College Swift Steeds , 9-3, at Taylor Swift is Hard Mid Eras Tour 2.0. The Lemurs were led by Adrienne Allaire. Allaire went 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 3. Shohei Onetani, the winner, improved to 3-1. He held the Swift Steeds to 3 runs on 6 hits over 5.2 innings, while striking out 2 and walking 3. Hank Hill got the save, the 3rd for him this season.
With Louisville trailing 2-1 in the top of the fifth, Allaire hit a cutter from Joshua Homme III Esquire Limited for a 3-run home run. It was his 1st home run of the season and put the Lemurs ahead, 4-2.
"What's not to like about a win?" said Allaire.
State College is 9-9 after the loss.
