Tight Tilt Goes to Swift Steeds , 3-2

The State College Swift Steeds picked up a win at Count Longardeaux's Strong Badian Dictionary Fo' My Own Words Stadium, taking down the Puerto Rico Ranas, 3-2. Starting pitcher Jackson Ramirez was a big reason why. Ramirez, now 4-0, was the winner. In 6.1 innings, he gave up 4 hits, while striking out 1, walking 3, and allowing 2 runs. Billy Jones earned the save, his 1st.
Kota Mizushima, who is tied for 5th in the MiLPBE in triples with 1, chipped in for State College with a solo home run in the bottom of the third. For the game, the first baseman had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 1 run batted in.
Mizushima said the team appreciates the support from the fans. "I'm glad we could reward them with a good win," he said after the game.
The defeat makes Puerto Rico 10-9.
