Chicago turned a good performance from starting pitcher Lord Slick Fingers into a 4-2 triumph over the Anchorage Wheelers at Balto Memorial Field at The Igloo. In 6.2 innings, Slick Fingers surrendered 7 hits, while striking out 2 and walking 4. He allowed 2 runs. Checo Perez [BOT] notched his 1st save of the season.

Sweet Sweet Ganjasmoke, who is tied for 8th in the MiLPBE in hits with 27, had a direct impact on the outcome. Ganjasmoke contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the third inning to put Chicago up, 1-0.
