George-Braxton in Fine Form in 3-0 Win
|
Kenny Payne Appreciation Stadium was the site for Minor League PBE action featuring the Puerto Rico Ranas and Louisville Lemurs.
In a tight game between the Louisville Lemurs and the Puerto Rico Ranas, pitcher Cornelius George-Braxton was terrific on the mound. The Louisville left-hander helped his team to the 3-0 win. The save went to Pedro Cerano Jr., his 1st this season.
George-Braxton was in the zone all game. He frustrated Puerto Rico hitters while giving the Lemurs 7.1 innings of quality work. George-Braxton threw 90 pitches, allowing 1 hit and getting 5 punchouts.
