|
J.B. Rainier was a major contributor to the 10-6 Brew City win over California. The Bears first baseman went 4-6 with 4 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. Brew City reliever Freddy Fordham picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. MiPBE Champions Season 30 was saddled with the loss. Paddington Adams recorded his 1st save for Brew City.
The game hit a turning point in the top of the fifth inning, when the Bears were trailing 6-5. Adam-Cole Bay-Bay delivered a two-out 2-run single for Brew City, catapulting his team into the lead.
