San Antonio had no answer for Death Valley Scorpions starter Guy Roussy, who flummoxed Sloths hitters as the Scorpions cruised to victory, 7-0. With the loss, San Antonio sinks to 2-5.

Roussy, who dominated for Death Valley, earned the victory to move to 2-0. He was in control the whole game, scattering 2 hits over 6.1 innings, while striking out 8. San Antonio batters could never bunch up enough hits to produce a rally.

"I think we did a good job of looking for pitches we wanted to hit and put good swings on them," said Death Valley skipper .
