Lemurs Pull Even With 5-4 Victory
The Louisville Lemurs had to overcome a big game from Amarillo catcher Brian Payne to leave Kenny Payne Appreciation Stadium with a victory. And they did, winning 5-4. Payne belted 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. The winning pitcher was Jennie B. Pink. He tossed 87 pitches over 6 innings, allowing 3 runs on 7 hits. Cybernetically Enhanced RoboDibble closed it out for his 2nd save.

The Lemurs got a big hit from second baseman Robin Griffin. In the bottom of the fifth, Griffin pounded a 2-run double to left-center. His 2nd double of the season put the Lemurs ahead, 5-0.
