Warwick Goes Deep Twice in 4-1 Hepcats Win
Behind a solid performance from designated hitter Cason Warwick, the Kansas City Hepcats defeated the State College Swift Steeds , 4-1. Warwick went 2-3 with 2 home runs and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice for the Hepcats. The winning pitcher was Biggus Tittious Smittious. His record is now 3-1. The right-hander went 6 innings, allowing 1 run on 2 hits for the Hepcats. Dennis Martinez recorded his 1st save for Kansas City.

Warwick contributed a big hit, a 2-run home run, for Kansas City in the bottom of the fourth. With his team trailing 1-0, Warwick took a slider from Archie Richards and stroked the home run to right-center. His 6th home run of the season allowed the Hepcats to leap in front, 2-1.

"We cashed in when we had the chance," said Kansas City manager .

The loss drops the Swift Steeds to 7-14.
