The California Firehawks stopped the Amarillo Armadillos, 7-4, at PBE Bigger Strange Podcast Stadium: Home of the Waterpigeons. The Firehawks got a big game from Devante Moore, who hit 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. Goro Shigeno got the save, the 6th for him this season. The loss drops the Armadillos to 9-12.

With California trailing 1-0 in the bottom of the first, Moore hit a cutter from Snack Reacher for a 2-run home run. It was his 8th home run of the season and put the Firehawks ahead, 2-1.

"I'm just looking to see the ball, hit the ball," said Moore.
