The Anchorage Wheelers got a stellar performance from pitcher Goaty McGoatFace, who handcuffed the State College offense en route to a win, 6-0, at Count Longardeaux's Strong Badian Dictionary Fo' My Own Words Stadium. McGoatFace, now 2-2, was the winner. In 7.2 innings, he gave up 6 hits, while striking out 1, walking 3, and allowing no runs. The win brings the Wheelers to 11-9, a promising start as the team looks to return to the playoffs.

Anchorage relied on the hitting of Rob Littleton to pick up the win. The catcher clubbed a grand slam home run in the top of the second inning to put the Wheelers on top, 5-0. For the game, Littleton had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
