Flamingos Thrill Fans with 7-6 Win
|
Florida beat Anchorage at Florida Man Park, escaping with a 7-6 win. The win in large part was due to catcher Brianna Rose Sabor. He was 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 5 RBI and scoring once. The winner was Rafferty Holman in relief. His record improves to 2-0. Leegull Iztampuring took the loss. The win moves Florida to a record of 13-8.
The Flamingos got a clutch hit from catcher Brianna Rose Sabor. In the bottom of the ninth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Flamingos.
"I still think this team can play even better," Sabor told the Florida Bulletin.
