Jiori Excels in 10-6 Amarillo Win
The Amarillo Armadillos topped the Kansas City Hepcats, 10-6, at The Burrow Presented By Frankie's Fun Bites. Amarillo left fielder Stupei Jiori was a spark plug for the offense. He was 4-5 with a home run and 2 doubles. He scored 3 times. The win went to Garlic Bread [BOT] in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Bendrick Hollows took the loss. The Hepcats fall to 8-13 and continue their uninspiring start to the 2080 season.

Randy Pajamas was 2 for 5 with 2 singles for Amarillo. The 20-year old right fielder had a key at-bat in the bottom of the seventh. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 6-6 tie with a run-scoring ground out off Bendrick Hollows. It was his 5th RBI of the season.

"We've got a great group of guys," Pajamas said, "and we're having fun right now."
