Penley Lifts Kingpins to 8-0 Win
|
In the 8-0 Chicago win over Amarillo, the impact of Dylan Penley was substantial. Penley, who is tied for 3rd in the MiLPBE in total bases with 53, was 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 2. The Kingpins, now 7-14, have not found much traction so far in 2070.
King Loc hit a run-scoring double off Guess Who in the bottom of the second, which put the Kingpins in front, 1-0. In addition to the double, Loc had 1 single, while going 2 for 4.
Penley called the win "a team effort."
