Baseball fans saw a good contest between the Amarillo Armadillos and Puerto Rico Ranas.

Getting an impressive start from Talion Solo, Amarillo beat Puerto Rico by the score of 4-2. Amarillo reliever Garlic Bread picked up the win, raising his record to 1-0. Kerr Mitt was tagged with the loss.

Amarillo needed the clutch hitting of Tyler Tokesome to notch the win. The second baseman hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Armadillos on top, 4-2. For the game, Tokesome had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

"We put it together today and came out with the win," Solo said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."

For the Ranas, the loss makes them 8-13.
