Flamingos Get Past Puerto Rico for 6-5 Win
The Puerto Rico Ranas got a superb performance from catcher Back Stop. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Florida. The Flamingos won the game, 6-5. Stop hit 2 home runs, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 2. Rafferty Holman picked up the save for Florida, his 1st of the year. The victory gives Florida a record of 12-10.

Florida relied on the bat of Spinosaurus Bill to get the win. The shortstop ripped a 2-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Flamingos ahead, 6-4. For the game, Bill had 1 double and 1 home run in 4 at-bats.
