Flamingos Win at Puerto Rico, 5-0
|
Pitcher Sigandi Legend was sensational for the Florida Flamingos in his team's 5-0 triumph over the Puerto Rico Ranas. Legend picked up the win, and it was well-earned. With the win, Florida upped its record to 14-8.
Alex Hughes, the 20-year old third baseman , had a direct impact on the outcome. Hughes contributed a 2-run single in the top of the sixth inning to put Florida up, 2-0.
Legend told a Florida Observer reporter that he was "gratified" with the win.
