Fans witnessed a whale of a game between the State College Swift Steeds and Louisville Lemurs.

The State College Swift Steeds beat the Louisville Lemurs, 2-1, at Taylor Swift is Hard Mid Eras Tour 2.0. Starting pitcher Aoife Carter was a big reason why. He held his opponent in check all game. Joshua Homme III Esquire Limited, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 5th save.

State College first baseman Adam Confused helped the Swift Steeds go up, 2-1, in the bottom of the sixth inning. With the game tied, Confused hit a run-scoring single off Louisville pitcher Sofia Mondragón.

"The key at this level is throwing strike one," said Carter. "Successful pitchers do it."

After today's action, State College sits at 12-10; Louisville slips to 6-16.
