The home crowd had a good time watching the Chicago Kingpins and California Firehawks get after it.

The California Firehawks stopped the Chicago Kingpins, 13-2, at PBE Bigger Strange Podcast Stadium: Home of the Waterpigeons. The Firehawks got a big game from Salvatore Bonpensiero, who was 3 for 4 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk. California reliever Josenacio Slothnacion was the winner. His record is now 1-0. The losing pitcher was Tom Wiggins.

Oso Altuve dealt the Kingpins a blow in the bottom of the fifth. Batting with the bases loaded and California leading 5-2, Altuve hit a 1-2 sinker for a 2-run single.

"We did more than enough to get the win," said Altuve.
