Kingpins Defeat Firehawks, 5-4
The Chicago Kingpins had to overcome a big game from California designated hitter Devante Moore to leave PBE Bigger Strange Podcast Stadium: Home of the Waterpigeons with a victory. And they did, winning, 5-4, in 11 innings. Moore went 3 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. The Kingpins raised their record to 9-14.

Troy Monopolitzki went 1-3 with 2 walks for Chicago. The 22-year old second baseman had a key at-bat in the top of the 11th. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 4-4 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Mid AtBest. It was his 5th RBI of the season.

"Took some scratching and clawing," said Monopolitzki. "But we got it done."
