Swift Steeds Lose By a Run at Brew City, 8-7
The Brew City Bears withstood an impressive performance by State College catcher Emidas Blair to defeat the Swift Steeds , 8-7, at Walter Partlo Memorial Stadium at The Tap House. Blair went 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. Whirlwind Von Helwick closed it out for his 2nd save. The losses continue to pile up for State College, which has now fallen 10 times in a row.

Joshua Jay chipped in for Brew City with a 2-run home run in the bottom of the fourth. For the game, the first baseman had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 2 runs scored, and 2 RBI.
