Hepcats Top Wheelers, 8-6
|
Hepcats right fielder Robin Quincy put his stamp on his team's 8-6 win over the Anchorage Wheelers. Quincy was 3-5 with 3 singles and a walk, while scoring 3 times for Kansas City in the contest. The triumph puts Kansas City at 12-11 for the season.
Kansas City used the clutch hitting of David Lavenski to capture the win. The first baseman drilled a 2-run double in the top of the tenth inning to give the Hepcats the lead, 8-6. For the game, Lavenski had 1 single and 1 double in 6 at-bats.
"Good win for us, tough loss for them," said Quincy.
