Pathfinders Earn Clutch Win, 2-1
The Toronto Pathfinders and Seattle Sea Serpents played a tight game with the hosts claiming a hard-fought win.

Jihmih Beniko pitched a gem to lead Toronto to victory over the Seattle Sea Serpents, 2-1. "Fire" Aaron Boone recorded the save, his 3rd.

The game was at a stalemate until third baseman Mortimer Dog came to bat in the bottom of the eighth. Facing Seattle pitcher Kip Treadwell, he hit a 1-1 splitter for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Toronto on top, 2-1.

"If we keep winning the close games," Dog said, "we'll be in good shape at the end."

With the loss, Seattle falls to 3-4.
