Wheelers Slap 5-2 Loss on Swift Steeds
|
A 3-RBI performance from Zach Le helped the Anchorage Wheelers beat the State College Swift Steeds , 5-2. Anchorage pitcher Oilohnroc Yttef got the win, upping his record to 3-1. Tim Infinity got the loss. Richard Dick, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 4th save.
With Anchorage trailing 1-0 in the top of the second, Le hit a 2-run single off State College hurler Tim Infinity. It was the 25th hit of the season for Le and put his team ahead, 2-1.
"I thought we played a nice game," Le told the Anchorage Citizen. "Good pitching, timely hitting, it was all there."
The win for the Wheelers raised their record to 14-10.
