Son Now 4-2 Following 2-1 Win
|
The Chicago Kingpins did just enough to sneak past the Kansas City Hepcats, 2-1, at The Jose Forty-Three Stadium. Chicago pitcher Chudigal Son, in particular, had a standout performance. Bodhi Grizz was called on to finish, recording his 6th save. The Kingpins have an impressive 18-6 record.
Son's performance can only be described as masterful. He notched 5 strikeouts in 8 innings while allowing 1 hit. Son, who is tied for 5th in the MiLPBE with a 2.28 ERA, goes to 4-2 on the year with 34 strikeouts.
"Tough loss," said Kansas City manager . "But we'll learn from it."
