Crisp goes 3-for-4 to Power Armadillos Offense
A 4-RBI performance from catcher Jesus Crisp, who is tied for 6th in the MiLPBE in extra base hits with 9, led the Amarillo Armadillos to a win over the State College Swift Steeds , 7-3. The winning pitcher was Gritty. His record is now 3-2. The left-hander went 7 innings, allowing 1 run on 3 hits for the Armadillos. The last-place Swift Steeds have lost 4 straight games.

Crisp contributed a big hit, a 2-run home run, for Amarillo in the bottom of the fourth. With his team trailing 1-0, Crisp took a circle change from Fridtjof Nansen and stroked the home run to right. His 6th home run of the season allowed the Armadillos to leap in front, 2-1.
